Britney Spears speaks out about her relationship with kids Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Singer Britney Spears, who has not held herself back when it comes to expressing herself and her emotions, recently was back in the spotlight after she replied to her son Jayden James, who during an interview commented on her mental health and their strained relationship.
Britney Spears is opening up once again where she is talking about how heartbreaking it is for her to listen to and read that the relationship between her and her sons is described as strained as of now. Britney Spears shares two kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2007.
Britney Spears posted a series of audio clips on Saturday and remarked that since her kids have been away from her, she feels like a huge part of her has died and she feels like there is no purpose left for her anymore. Britney stated that her children were her joy, her everything, and she looked forward to seeing them; it was everything she lived for, and now everything appears to be gone for her, as she stated in the audio clip that she felt like her heart had stopped beating.
In the audio clips, Britney Spears addressed the change in the custody arrangement between her and ex-husband Kevin Federline, stating that she used to have them at one point way more compared to now and mentioned that she does not understand why people don’t remember that part and focus on the negative side of the situation. She clarified that when the boys were at the age of 6-9, she had them 70% of the time.
Britney later addressed the comment that Kevin Federline made during an interview that the boys had decided not to meet her for now and stated that it had been a few months since they last saw her, to which Britney replied in her audio clip that she does not understand how it is easy for her kids to cut her off like that and mentioned that she cannot wrap her head around this.
The singer further said that all she knows is that her love for her kids is more than anything in this world and apologized to them if she had hurt them in any way and went on to offer a message of hope for their reunion. Britney added that until then, Jayden and Preston should know that she adores them and mentioned that she was told that they had blocked her but added that she is hopeful that the boys are using the punching bag she gave them.
Britney Spears, who recently made a comeback with Elton John’s song "Hold Me Closer," added in her audio clip that both the boys are unbelievable in the gym and wished them an early happy birthday and appreciated them as they can do pull-ups and said that they are skilled in everything they do and she is blessed to call them hers.
The singer had previously responded to Jayden James’ interview with ITV in which he said that the relationship between them might be strained as of now but it can be repaired 100% and gave a reason on why they did not attend her marriage with Sam Asghari. According to Jayden, it would have been awkward but mentioned that the boys are very happy for her. Jayden also said that he would pray for his mother’s health and that hopefully, they would meet in the future.
Britney Spears responded by saying that the love she has for her boys has no boundaries and it deeply saddens her to hear Jayden’s outcry of saying that she was not a mother according to his expectations, and later she questioned Jayden’s intention to participate in an interview and said that it hurts and pains her so much that none of her family members had valued her as a person.
In a post shared on her social media, Britney Spears also shared that she has been traumatized for life because of the conservatorship and does not think that she will ever be able to perform on stage again. She recalled the time and lack of creative control over her music videos, although she said that she visually liked how ‘Work Bitch’ turned out to be. Britney Spears took a dig at the photographers who worked with her at the time, stating that they were very offensive, and explaining that they never showed her the pictures they were putting out. She called out her parents once again for putting her through 13 years of conservatorship and concluded that she wished that they both burned in hell.
