During an episode of Big Brother VIP, Caitlyn Jenner opened up about her relationship with ex-wife Kris Jenner and where the two stand currently.

Caitlyn Jenner, 72, mentioned that she and Kris aren’t as close as she’d like to be with her. She added, "From my standpoint, our relationship is not as good as it should be. I don't have any hard feelings towards her. We did a great job of this and that. Yeah, I wish it was closer, but it's not. "

The former Olympian was asked if she believes her ex has any "misgivings" about her, to which she replied, "That is an understatement." Caitlyn Jenner further added, "Our relationship is okay. I think it could be better just because of the kids. It’s always that way when you have that. It’s all about how the mother and father get along together. Is it easy? Is it good? Do they see each other? Is there any tension? "

In 1991, Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner tied the knot, before the two announced their separation 22 years later, and in 2015, Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) came out as transgender publicly. The two share two daughters, supermodel Kendall Jenner and beauty mogul Kylie Jenner.

During one of Robe Lowe’s podcast episodes, Caitlyn Jenner shared that she has faced some challenges on her journey of self-discovery. She added that, after 23 years, Kris and her went their separate ways, and her identity was not the only part of their separation, but so much more. She acknowledged that her "frustration with herself" led her to be a little shorter with herself near the end.

Adding more to their separation, Caitlyn Jenner shared that then, all of a sudden, they had no issues and everything was calm. The couple announced their divorce in 2014 and remained on good terms to the point that Kris Jenner helped Caitlyn find a place in Malibu, decorate it, and make her feel comfortable.

Caitlyn Jenner also recalled her childhood days when she felt insecure and struggled with herself, admitting that as a child she was never comfortable with her identity. One of the reasons why she struggled was because 'transgender' was not even a word when she was growing up, so she found ways to just distract herself from those feelings, which was to get involved in sports, which she considered a great way to prove your manhood.

Further, Caitlyn Jenner shared that in her 80s, she underwent hormones and electrolysis, which led her to focus on herself rather than on her children. She quoted, "Those years, I was not a good parent. I had four kids. I was too busy struggling with my own issues and my own self. Furthermore, I very much regret that, that I wasn’t there more for my young kids. " Apart from Kendall and Kylie, Caitlyn Jenner also shares Burt Jenner and Cassandra Marino with ex-wife Chrystie Jenner, and sons with Brandon Jenner and Brody Jenner with ex-wife Linda Thompson, along with being a stepparent to Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kholé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian.

Caitlyn Jenner also shared that Kris Jenner thought Caitlyn was going to spell her name with a "K," but she quoted, "She goes, ‘Oh, my God. What do I call you? ’ I said, ‘Well, my name is Caitlyn.’ And she goes, "Good, you stayed with the K’s." I went, "No, I’m going with a C." Yes, I had to break it to her easily. I said, ‘There’s got to be a little separation between church and state.'"

In her ‘The Secrets of My Life’, Caitlyn shared that Kris Jenner knew more about her gender dysphoria than she did. In her Big Brother VIP interview, Caitlyn Jenner said that the transition was hard because none of the two had ever been through anything like that before in a million years, and she quoted, "We didn't know how to process that — and it was a process, it was a shock, and then it was a reality, and it was something that we had to absorb and try to wrap our heads around and learn about. What I thought was interesting about that was, I'm sure many people who are fans of our show weren't expecting it either and were as confused at times as sad at times as happy at times because there were so many ways of looking at it."

The world is aware that Kris decided to take a call with Caitlyn Jenner after speaking with her daughters and helping her plan her YouTube channel to expand her business. Kris Jenner stated, "Even though I can't make things magically better with us, I'm just here to be supportive. And I just want her to be happy. So, I was really happy to offer some advice and encouragement on something that she was trying to do".

Back in April, Kris Jenner told the Wall Street Journal’s The One that the two are "respectful" of each other. Caitlyn Jenner in her episode of Big Brother also discussed her Olympic triumph, where she took home gold in the decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympics and was invited to discuss the iconic photo taken of that moment.

The former Olympian shared while breaking down in tears, "This photo means a lot to me. This is the photo at the finish line, at the last step of 12 years of my career. I spent 12 years of my life every day preparing for that moment, and I got there. And right at that moment, I won the title of the greatest athlete in the world. A few days later, I saw this photo on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine, and the caption was "Alright." And eventually, that was exactly how I felt. I thought to myself, "Oh my god, did I build that character up so much that I am stuck with him the rest of my life?" There was so much more to me than that photo, and I struggled with that for a long time. "

Talking about being female, Caitlyn Jenner said that it’s peace for her soul compared to what she had as a male. She stated that she has never been in a better place in her life and that with the amount of peace she currently has in her soul, she believes she has an opportunity to make a difference in the world. The 'Keeping Up With Kardashians’ alum offered herself up for eviction at the Big Brother flash eviction, telling her co-stars that she needs to get back to her campaign for governor of California.

Caitlyn Jenner added, "I have to look at the big picture. California is where I have been for the last three months in a campaign trying to take over the fifth-largest economy in the world. I have a lot of people in California working for me trying to pull this off".
