Chris Pratt talks about baby Eloise and admires Katherine Schwarzenegger's maternal instincts.
Actor Chris Pratt, who walked the red carpet at the world premiere of his movie Jurassic World Dominion along with the entire cast in Los Angeles, spoke about his newborn baby girl, Eloise. Chris Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, welcomed their second daughter on May 21st and mentioned that Katherine has been holding everyone and everything together.
The couple took to their social media to share that they had welcomed a baby girl, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Chris Pratt has a 9-year-old son, Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris, as well as a 1-year-old daughter, Lyla, with Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Chris Pratt added that Katherine Schwarzenegger has the most amazing maternal instincts and she just knows what to do to guide him along the way, and he just follows her lead. The actor said that he is on diaper duty for now and compared them to the experience he had with his T-Rex co-stars, adding that diapers smell worse than dino droppings, but they are smaller and much more manageable.
Chris Pratt added that his daughters have dictated his latest indulgences, and he just eats a lot of pizza and everything on his kids’ plates. He explained that he cooks them lunch and the kids eat only half and added jokingly that calories don’t count if the food is on their plate and added that there have been a lot of chicken nuggets, fries, and tater tots.
Katherine Schwarzenegger’s mother, on the birth of her newborn granddaughter, said that she is a miracle and added that it’s an extraordinary honor to watch your children become parents. Katherine Schwarzenegger has previously mentioned in 2021 on the Today show that one of the best gifts that her parents could give to her and her siblings is the gift of privacy and a normal upbringing. She said that they had a normal childhood and were allowed to be their people, have their own identity, and were given the freedom to choose to step into the public in whichever way they wanted.
Talking about Jurassic World Dominion, which was positioned as the finale for the franchise, stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill and is directed by Colin Trevorrow. The sixth chapter in the Jurassic World franchise is based four years later after Isla Nublar has been destroyed and the dinosaurs live and hunt alongside human beings.
At the world premiere, Chris Pratt said that it’s the third time the franchise is having a premiere in Los Angeles and he is excited for the audience to finally see the much-awaited movie, along with stating that he is very excited to be at the premiere. He added that he is doing everything he can to drink up every single second of the moment and expressed that he sees this as a blessing. He added that, of course, he is going to miss everything, but right now he is just focusing on soaking up all the love and the fun.
The actor said that filming Jurassic World Dominion was fun because he not only got to work with real-life dinosaurs but also the OG cast, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill. He admitted during the interview at the premiere that it was eight months of incredible, arduous work and he was very grateful to have been working with such talented people.
Variety senior awards editor Clayton Davis, who saw the film, stated that it is nostalgia on steroids and that it will make money, but Courtney Howard, a critic, and Variety contributor stated that the film falls short of expectations and summed up her feelings about it in one word: BAD. Digital Spy’s Ian Sandwell said that Jurassic World Dominion as the final movie was underwhelming but stated that the return of the OG cast is a strength for the movie. Kristen Acuna of Insider mentioned in her review that people should watch the original Jurassic Park before watching Jurassic World Dominion.
Jurassic World Dominion hits theatres on June 10th.
