Marvel superstar Dave Bautista is making headlines after he made a statement on the controversial Texas anti-abortion law. The 52-year-old actor took to social media platform Instagram to share his views on the Texas Heartbeat Act.

Former wrestler turned actor shared that he doesn't give a f**k to people who support this act and he highly condemns the law.

He said, "Her body her choice." He wrote, "There are very few things in this world that I’m not open to discussion about. This is one of them. If you disagree, I don’t give AF."

The anti-abortion law known as Texas Heartbeat Act essentially provides a mechanism for members of the public to sue anyone who is seen performing or facilitating an illegal abortion for a minimum of $10,000 in statutory damageis. The highly controversial act was introduced as Senate Bill 8 (SB 8) and House Bill 1515 (HB 1515) on March 11, 2021.

Governor Gregg Abbot of the Texas State signed the act on May 19, 2021, and it came into effect on September 1st, 2021. It is the first six-week abortion ban in the United States.

Abbot while signing up the act said, “Our creator endowed us with the right to life and yet millions of children lose their right to life every year because of abortion,” Abbott said in a bill signing ceremony, captured on videos posted on social media. The Legislature "worked together on a bipartisan basis to pass a bill that I'm about to sign that ensures that the life of every unborn child who has a heartbeat will be saved from the ravages of abortion.”

Recently, the American star Dave Bautista while appearing in an interview with ComicBook.com shared his experience in his journey of playing the role of fan-favorite comic book character Drax.

He said, "You know, it seems to be Drax's pattern that no matter what his goal is, he gets his ass kicked," Bautista laughed, talking to ComicBook.com in an exclusive interview. "No superhero has ever gotten their ass kicked so much as Drax!"

"It's our third film. We're going to wrap it up," Bautista says. "And it's been a hell of a journey with a few bumps. So I'm looking forward to this, man. My cast and obviously the director, James Gunn, they're like family to me. This is kind of where my journey started. It's come full circle and I'm looking forward to wrapping it up. And it's a bittersweet... I mean, I've been doing Guardians since 2013. And, you know, when this comes out, you know, it'll be in 2023, so that's a, you know, 10 year journey."

In the vein of Tony Stark's ominous words in the Avengers: Endgame trailer, "Part of the journey is the end," the Drax actor remains enthusiastic about the conclusion of his and Drax's runs. "You know, all things must end," Bautista says. "And, you know, I'm looking forward to kind of wrapping this up with my friends and family."

Warner Bros. Dune at the international box office, according to Deadline, has earned a total of $26.3 million this weekend in 32 countries adding the total amount to $75 million ahead of its domestic release.

Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve made a controversy after his comments on Marvel films. He said, "There are too many Marvel movies that are nothing more than a cut and paste of others." He added, “Perhaps these types of movies have turned us into zombies a bit… But big and expensive movies of great value there are many today. I don’t feel capable of being pessimistic at all."

Villeneuve further added, "Just think of the golden age of Hollywood to see that commercial films can make a different artistic proposal and, therefore, political. I have never felt like a loss or an impediment to have a generous budget to do what I wanted to do. Upside down. Who said that a movie on a big budget can’t be artistically relevant at the same time? I am currently thinking of people like Christopher Nolan or Alfonso Cuarón.” The Academy Award-nominated director has added himself to the list of various other filmmakers along the years publicly criticizing the MCU."
