According to the statement, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have never quoted privacy as a reason for their pullout, and this warped and twisted narrative was designed to keep the couple silent. According to the Global Press Secretary, their assertion publicizing their decision to step back makes mentions nothing about privacy and reiterates their desire to keep their roles and public duties.
