A recent report from Vanity Fair confirms that Robert Downey Jr. stepped in to help actor Armie Hammer, who found himself in the middle of a dark crisis last year as the allegations of emotional abuse, manipulation, and violence against the actor came out in public.
According to a source close to Armie Hammer, Robert Downey Jr., who had dealt with his fair share of widely reported scandals and addiction, paid for Armie Hammer to receive treatment at the Guest House in Florida for about six months. The treatment center, which is situated on a private 52-acre estate in Silver Springs, specifically serves individuals who lead high-stress or high-visibility lives, such corporate leaders, politicians, and those in the entertainment industry.
A lot of people who were close to Armie Hammer had spoken to Vanity Fair and mentioned that everyone looks at the actor as having had some sort of privileged life, and that must mean there were no problems in his youth and everything was peachy keen. The friend added that it’s not necessarily the way things go. Just because you come from an upbringing where financial resources are plentiful does not mean that there are no problems in your life.
Armie Hammer checked out of the rehab facility in December and has been doing well since then and is focusing on healing, staying sober, and spending time with family while laying low. Elizabeth Chambers, Armie Hammer’s ex-wife, has also supported the father of her children whenever he needed her and has always said that she wants the best for their family. It was also reported that Elizabeth Chambers, who is the founder of Bird Bakery, has signed her entertainment deal.
The Desus & Mero producer Muna Mire uploaded a photograph of a booklet for a family-run resort called Morritt's Resort that included a photo of Armie Hammer and described him as a personal concierge for the arriving guests. This caused the Call Me By Your Name actor to reappear on the internet. Muna Mire tweeted that Armie Hammer served as her friends' parents' concierge when they were on vacation on Cayman Island, but she later removed the message. However, the tweet had the desired effect since, as later revealed by TMZ and Variety, the actor is employed by the resort on Cayman Island as a timeshare marketer.
In a statement to Vanity Fair on Wednesday, a representative for Armie Hammer said that he was unable to confirm or deny the reports because the actor has not yet decided on them. However, the attorney added that it is absurd for the public and the media to shame the actor if he works as a timeshare because it is a regular job and unrelated to acting. To avoid the spotlight, Armie Hammer reportedly traveled to Los Angeles with Elizabeth Chambers and the children. While there, he sleeps at a house owned by Robert Downey Jr. and frequently attends A.A. sessions in Malibu.
A source shared that Robert Downey Jr. is also providing financial assistance to the actor to help him get back on his feet. Robert Downey Jr.’s representatives are still yet to confirm the news, and the exact reason why Robert Downey Jr. is helping Armie Hammer is still unclear. However, the information that Robert Downey Jr. is supporting Armie Hammer makes it seem like the actor might connect to many other situations outside the abuse allegations. Robert Downey Jr. was pulled over by the police in 1996 for speeding, and when they searched his car they discovered heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, and an unloaded.357 Magnum. After a year in prison and a subsequent arrest in 2001, Robert Downey Jr. enrolled himself in rehab. He had already successfully exited it, but he was now homeless, on the verge of going bankrupt, and essentially unemployed when Mel Gibson intervened.

However, cannibalism is an entirely different degree of insanity. Some of them pointed out that they are just imagining Armie Hammer being so f*cked up that RDJ had to beg him to go to rehab. Someone else said Robert Downey Jr. funds Armie's treatment because he returned from many arrests on drug-related offenses and a period in jail but Armie detailed his fantasy of raping women and that he wants to chop off their ribs, grill them, and eat them. There is no treatment for it.
