Grammy Award nominee rapper, Kanye West, or now called "Ye", has once again spoken about his strained relationship with Kim Kardashian at the Los Angeles Mission's annual Thanksgiving event in Skid Row on Wednesday alongside L.A. Mission CEO Troy Vaughn.
During his speech, Kanye West addressed the audience about his family, acknowledging the mistakes he has made, and how he believes that God wants him to reunite with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. Kanye West said, "The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships. We've made mistakes. I've made mistakes. I've publically done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now, for whatever reason — I didn't know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I'm here to change the narrative. "
The rapper who visited Skid Row on Thanksgiving Eve also addressed the new and upcoming shows on Kardashian’s reality show network E!, and Hulu and said, "I’m not letting E!, write the narrative of my family. I’m not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family... I am the priest of my home" Further, in his speech, Kanye West stated, "I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I’m out of the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation".
Kanye West, who was aware of the fact that how much his speech could sound random to people present in the audience, stated that he was just trying to express his feelings in the sanest and calm way possible, but he needed to be back home. In his speech, he added, "Now it's time to restore the families this Thanksgiving. It's all about restoring the family. This morning I felt so blessed to wake up, to work out, and be able to drive to my house and see my wife and my kids. That's right. I said, My wife and my children, and I want everyone to pray for my family."
A source told Page Six that Kanye West not only spoke about his situation with his family but also about saving the world and how many ideas he had to work with the LA Mission. The rapper said, "If the enemy can separate Kimye, there are going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is OK... but when God brings Kimye together, there are going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced to see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma the devil has used to capitalize to keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store."
This is not the first time Kanye West has addressed the fact that he wants to reconcile with Kim Kardashian, even though according to sources, he is currently dating model Vinetria. Kanye West, during a podcast interview last month, mentioned that he has not seen the divorce papers yet and that she is still his wife legally and that he wants to work to make the relationship work.
On the other hand, Kim Kardashian is rumored to be dating stand-up comedian Pete Davidson, as the duo was spotted at various locations and on Kim’s Instagram too. A source close to the duo mentioned that the two are trying to get to know each other and are focusing on having fun for a while. The source added, "Kim and Pete are dating and having a great time together. Pete is a romantic and goes out of his way to make Kim feel special. Kim thinks Pete is hysterical, and he's constantly making her laugh, but they also have been connecting on a deeper level".
The Kardashians are worried that Kanye might not take the news of Kim and Pete's romance well, but Kim Kardashian has always been protective of Kanye West and his feelings and is constantly trying to keep her hangouts with Pete low-key. Another source close to the estranged couple added, "Kim and Kanye's co-parenting relationship and friendship change almost daily depending on Kanye's mood. One day he wants to get back together with Kim, and the next day he is blocking her number. Kim is over any drama".
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have and four children together, North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, and are focusing on being there for their kids as of now. The reality TV star filed for divorce in February after seven years of marriage.
