Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson welcome their baby boy via surrogate
Good American founder Khloe Kardashian and NBA player and ex Tristan Thompson have welcomed their second baby together via surrogate. The sources close to the former couple, who split up in January, recently revealed that the two of them are expecting a baby boy via surrogacy and that their child was conceived in November, when the world, along with Khloe Kardashian, was unaware of Tristan Thompson’s cheating.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are already co-parenting their 4-year-old daughter True Thompson and are now looking forward to co-parenting the newest member of their family amicably as well. A source at the time mentioned that Khloe Kardashian and the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan are very grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing for their family.
It was reported that the birth of their baby boy does not mean that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson will get back together because after what went down with Tristan Thompson and Maralee Nichols, Khloe Kardashian seems done with him and will have the baby full time. Khloe Kardashian does, however, wish for Tristan Thompson to be a part of their kids’ lives as much as he wants to be.
The reason why Khloe Kardashian went ahead and had a baby with Tristan Thompson was that they were on good terms when they decided to go ahead with the surrogacy and Khloe Kardashian would have done the entire thing with or without Tristan Thompson if she needed to. Khloe and Kim talked about Khloe's difficulties conceiving naturally in the first episode of the last season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which aired in March 2021. Khloe had been told by the doctors that she would have a high-risk pregnancy if she decided to have her second kid. She said that if she tries to carry her child, there is an 80% chance that she would miscarry, according to the physicians.
After that, Kim Kardashian, who also had children via surrogacy, encouraged her sister to go for surrogacy and was heard appreciating the women who have children the traditional way but mentioned that there is no difference between having a child traditionally or via surrogate because they are your kids and you’d love them the same way, but the only difference is the fact that someone else carried the child. It was reported that Khloe Kardashian was thrilled to know that her surrogate was pregnant, but she was at the same time very disappointed and hurt because of Tristan Thompson’s actions, but she chose to put her baby as the priority and focused on preparing for his arrival.
Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal and fathering a child with Maralee Nichols broke everything the two of them were building, and the entire thing was showcased to the audience in the first season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, where Khloe Kardashian said to the confession camera that she felt incredibly let down. The Good American founder mentioned that there was nothing that could be said or done that would make her feel better because all of the energy, conversation, and bricks they had been laying down for their relationship were shattered as a tornado went through.
Khloe also said that sometimes people do stupid things for the sake of the kids, but they also need to know that they cannot be stupid for the sake of the kids for a long time and concluded that she is proud of herself for at least trying her best to make things work for the sake of their daughter, but at the end of the day, you cannot change a person.
It was also reported that Khloe has decided to end things with her private equity investor whom she had met a few weeks ago during a dinner party. The reason of their breakup is the fact that the romance fizzled out and Good American founder is at the moment focusing on being a good and dotted mother and her work. The TV personality is although open for love but is not in rush.
