Lizzo claps back at Kanye West.

During his interview with Fox News's Tucker Carlson, Kanye West said that he believes that the media is perpetuating the idea of being overweight as a goal and they portray it as being healthy when in real life it is unhealthy.

When Kanye went on to say that Lizzo works with his instructor, a friend of his, and when Lizzo loses ten pounds and informs it to her followers on social media, the bots attack her because the media wants to spread the myth that being overweight is the new goal, which is never the case because it is unhealthy.

Leaving aside the fact that it's not fashion or Vogue, and if someone thinks it's attractive, to each his own, the rapper went on to say that it's medically unhealthy, and those who encourage it are demonic. When Tucker Carlson asked Kanye about the alleged perpetuation of those body types, the rapper responded that it is genocide against the black race, and the media wants to kill them in any way they can.

Some people instantly called out Kanye West for his comments on Lizzo’s weight and called it disgusting. Some people wrote that Kanye West calling out Lizzo for being overweight is crazy because he had weight loss surgery, adding that Lizzo is out here minding her own business and making people happy. The user added that they hope that Lizzo is having a great time, while someone else wrote that they have no idea why Kanye West had to drag Lizzo into the nonsense.

And now, during a concert in Toronto, Lizzo has responded to the comments made on her body in her own unique way, saying that she feels like everyone in America has her motherfucking name in their motherfucking mouth for no motherfucking reason. Lizzo went on to say that she is minding her own fat, black, beautiful business. She also asked the crowd if she could take shelter in the Great White North and even tried to find a Canadian spouse for dual citizenship, which drew applause and laughter.

Lizzo is no stranger to body-shaming from industry men, having recently faced some devious comments about her weight from comedian Aries Spears, who earlier said in an interview that she looks like the shit emoji. He went on to criticize women who praise body confidence and sisterhood but refuse to talk about health risks like diabetes, heart problems, heart disease, and cholesterol.

He added that he knows that everybody will jump on me for making jokes, but everyone won't be fucking real and go and tell her that sister, you need to put the éclair down, this isn't it. It's treadmill time.

Lizzo while accepting an award at the MTV Video Music Awards in August said that now, for the bitches who have something to say about her in the press, wait a minute. Lizzo said that she is going to remain silent adding that people ask her why doesn't she clap back. to which she said because, bitch, she is winning adding that big bitch has won. Lizzo added that the best retaliation, bitch, is in your paper. Later, the singer took to her social media to clarify that when she commented while accepting the award, she was not addressing anyone in specific but everyone.

Lizzo has previously spoken openly about her struggles with body image and has long been a proponent of body positivity, inspiring her supporters to start embracing their bodies of any size. Despite what critics say, Lizzo told PEOPLE for a cover story on the Women Changing the World issue in March that she is proud of herself.

She stated that she believes she has a really hot body and that she is a body icon, which she is accepting more and more every day. Lizzo went on to say that she understands that her body type isn't everyone's ideal, just as Kim Kardashian's body type isn't everyone's ideal, but she's a body icon and has set a modern-day beauty standard. And she is stepping into her confidence and power to create her beauty standard. And one day, that will be the norm.

Lizzo's mother Sharie Jefferson-Johnson recently shared with Vanity Fair that the singer took the entire family to therapy to prepare them for the fact that she will be using profanity in her songs. Sharie said that the singer prepared them and added that Lizzo has always been a free-spirited person and right now she is doing what she loves, making her own decisions, and helping people along the way. Lizzo's mother said that she is very proud of her daughter.
