The particular reason for her excitement is that it has been one of her "childhood goals" to host the show.

She feels so touched by this opportunity in both emotional and spiritual terms that it feels difficult for her to express this "state of bliss" in words.

Eboni K. Williams feels pressure to fill in for Meghan McCain in the talk show, but seeing the fact that she was the first black woman cast in the "Real Housewives Of New York City" (RHONY), it is believed that no one else would be better than her to fill for the role.
Plus, owing to the respect that Meghan and Eboni share, Meghan recommending her name as the ideal fit looks like the cherry on top, and this flatters her even more to justify the role.
At last, Williams believes that it might need plenty of political tactics to indulge in the show, but she ensures that she'll stick to her ethics and will be true to her intellect during her stint on the show.
