Marvel star Scarlett Johansson, who debuted in the superhero-based franchise Marvel Cinematic Universe with Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man 2 and later on went on to lead the franchise as one of the most important characters till the end of its phase 3 following studios Avengers Endgame released in 2019 which eventually wrapped thing up things for her Marvel hero Natasha Romanoff also known as Black Widow, while speaking in a recent event finally opened up about the whole fiasco around her lawsuit that she had filed back in July this year because the studio simultaneously released her latest film in the MCU, Black Widow in theatres as well as on its streaming platform Disney+ going against the terms and conditions of the official contract policy that both The Walt Disney Studios and Johansson agreed on when they signed it.

“It was a very surreal time because, of course, the film had come out and was hugely successful and that was a big celebration. I had a baby and that was obviously a life-changing, amazing, celebratory thing. In a way, that sort of buoyed me through the very uncertain, stressful time. I feel mostly very fortunate that nobody will have to go through what I went through and that it’s made, I think, a positive impact in the industry and hopefully for artists and creatives’ lives and livelihood. [...] It’s an evolving time where there’s this huge sea change happening, and as my daughter [Rose] told me the other day, you can’t make an omelet without breaking some eggs,” Scarlett Johansson told The Hollywood Reporter, explaining that while filing the lawsuit against such a giant media like Disney wasn’t something that can be described as easy as it was pretty stressful for her at certain times because of the fact that it is such a big entity and that she had been working with the company for years but at the same time she felt it was the right thing to do that definitely created a right kind of impact not only for her but for all people working all over in the film industry. Johansson connected her legal action against Disney as something her daughter said that “you can’t make an omelet without breaking some eggs.”

What went on to be a big mess between Disney and Johansson was ultimately settled back in last month of which the details were never provided by either the superstar or by the studio however the chairman Alan Bergman of the company had made a statement back then saying,  “I'm very pleased that we have been able to come to a mutual agreement with Scarlett Johansson regarding Black Widow," said Disney Studios chairman. "We appreciate her contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and look forward to working together on a number of upcoming projects, including Disney's Tower of Terror."

Various Reports from industry insiders suggest that Marvel Studios Shang-Chi and The Legend of Ten Rings’ box office collection around the globe had a major role to play in the settlement.
