Scott Disick Invites Legal Action by A Small-Town Restaurant for an Event No-Show (source - mtstandard)

We’ve known Scott Disick to be a problematic yet self-assured celebrity for a while now, but the Keeping Up with The Kardashians star could have very well exceeded our expectations. Apparently, Scott Disick is a major draw at events and enjoys the perks that come with it, perks that include a private jet.  

However, the reality star took things up a notch when he requested a private jet to Saratoga Springs to make a Friday Night personal appearance at Gaffney's - which Google lists as a “stalwart, comfy eatery with a garden patio”, and is known to serve onions rings for just $11.  

Disick called in a day before his appearance to request a “spare plane” for his trip from the Hamptons to Saratoga Springs. While the restaurant had no private plane to start with, and complying with Disick's request would be a first for the small-town restaurant, they did get the private jet he wanted. Disick called in yet again to make a major change to set plans, he now had his own ride.  

There’s more from where that came. When Scott arrived at Saratoga Springs, he called the restaurant to arrange a helicopter ride for the 150 miles or so from the airbase to the venue, and yet again called to say he had his own ride. Do we see a pattern here? Boy! That Scott Disick must be hard to work with. Disick is best known for being Kourtney Kardashian’s former partner, father of her three children, and main cast member on Keeping Up with The Kardashian’s, and the not-so-hot spinoff ‘Flippin it Like Disick’ that has Scott flipping houses.

Scott and Courtney were partnered from 2005 to 2015, and share three children. There’s a general consensus that Scott’s alcohol abuse issues contributed greatly to the breakup. Since then, Scott is best known for dating much younger models. 38-year-old Disick currently dates 20-year-old model Amelia Hamlin.

It’s easy to see why personal appearances by Scott Disick would be 'a thing' at 

restaurants and bars, but we can only hope Gaffney’s had a unique experience with Disick. After confirming the availability of a helicopter, Scott Disick later canceled by saying his ride had fallen through. For a small-town restaurant like Gaffney’s - it was time to start counting their losses. Disick’s missteps cost Gaffney’s, with the restaurant having to recompensate table bookings sold with Scott Disick as the prime attraction.  

And while we’d say things can't get worse, Disick was set to make this appearance to make up for bailing on Gaffney’s once prior. With the Keeping Up with The Kardashians final season having run its course, some would say Scott is having an identity crisis. No matter the existential reason for Disick's no-show, Gaffney's is now considering legal action to get Scott to recompensate the restaurant for its losses.
