A woman who alleges that Snoop Dogg and one of his associates assaulted her in 2013 has filed a lawsuit against the two under the charges of sexual assault and battery.

According to reports, a woman who is identified as Jane Doe has come forward in court and claimed that rapper Snoop Dogg and his long-term friend Bishop Don Juan sexually assaulted her in 2013. The woman who described herself as a professional dancer, host, model, actress, and spokesmodel said that she worked for Snoop Dogg and Don Juan as a stage dancer for their concerts. She shared that she was never hired again because she refused to give in to their demands.

She further claims that in late May 2013, she and one of her friends went to one of the rapper’s performances at Club Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California and they ran into Don Juan as they went to the VIP area. Don Juan invited Jane Doe and her friend to Snoop’s studio where according to the documents obtained they stayed until midnight.

Don Juan told her "I can take you home or I can take you back to my place with me" and she asked to be taken home but found herself in Don Juan’s home and because she was extremely exhausted she went back to sleep. Jane Doe alleged that she woke to Don Juan forcing her to perform oral sex before he rolled over and let her be alone. The woman also claims that she and Don Juan went to Snoop Dogg’s studio where he was taping for his television series ‘Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network’.

The woman said in her lawsuit that she felt ill and went to the bathroom as they reached the studio and Snoop entered the bathroom after her and forced her to perform oral sex on him, which because of her fear of life, she agreed to. She added that Don Juan later saw her and instructed her to take a photo with the rapper and later escorted her out of the studio.

According to the lawsuit that alleges that Snoop Dogg’s "actions were sexually predatorial”, stating that the woman who identified as Jane Doe, "found herself thinking about her job security if she displeased Snoop. She felt pressured ... due to his dominance, and his position of power over her, including his ability to hire and fire her and ensure that she would never be hired in his industry again." The complaint further adds that Jane Doe as "suffered anxiety, stress, depression, nightmares, sleep disturbances, post-traumatic stress, headaches, severe emotional distress and physical ailments.”

The woman and the defendants decided to settle the matter in private but it was unsuccessful and it was later reported that Snoop Dogg shared a post on his social media and accused Jane Doe of being a gold digger and included emojis such as money bag, judge, and a police officer.

The woman is being represented by Matt E.O. Finkleburgh and said in a statement to NBC News, "Jane Doe refuses to be silenced and intimidated any longer. Our client's hope is to inspire other victims of sexual harassment, assault, and battery to understand that they have rights, will be protected, and although they are victims, they will not have to be silenced forever.” She is suing the rapper for alleged violation of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, sexual battery, and sexual assault and demands a jury trial.

The lawsuit comes before Sunday’s Super Bowl performance where Snoop Dogg is all set to perform. Wednesday was a big day for Snoop Dogg as he announced the purchase of Death Row Records, the gangsta rap powerhouse label that released his 1993 album, ‘Doggystyle’. He said in a statement, "It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”
