Produced under the banner of DC Films in association with New Line Cinema, Seven Bucks Productions, and FlynnPictureCo and distribution set to take place under Warner Bros Studios, Dwayne Johnson’s most anticipated film Black Adam film is moving at the right pace to release next year as it just received its first official teaser at the last month held 2021 DC FanDome, Hiram Garcia, the man working behind the screen on the superhero blockbuster as the producer hits the fans with an important detail regarding the movie, saying that the DC epic, even though seems to be a standalone film in DC’s version of the MCU, Detective Comics Extended Universe, will be connected to the larger DECU world and would not be left out from the concept of the multiverse, which is going to be largely explored in studios another upcoming epic directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash as the films’ leading star Ezra Miller’s character Flash would be seen zipping through different timelines and universes in order to save his mother in the film.

"I don't know if we're going to address [the multiverse], but everything in that DC universe we like to think of is connected somehow, And so the multiverse exists around our characters as well in our world. Not that you're necessarily going to feel that in our movie, but it is very much a thing, right? We know that there's going to be some other multiverse factors in there that we know exist,” Garcia said to TheWrap, teasing the Black Adam’s connection with other DCEU characters, universes, and timelines, which exists within the fold of the superhero-based franchise.

He also touched about The Flash, slated to release in theatres on 4th November 2022, and the kind of greater impact it will have over the entire DCEU world. “It's just a matter of when we start to play with it or lean into it, but we're excited for that Flash movie. Our friends are making it, we know how big and ambitious that movie is and the vision DC has for it. We're very supportive of it. Andy Muschietti is such a brilliant director. You couldn't have picked a better guy to do that movie. We're excited to see it as well. But I do think anytime you're dealing with any DC movie, fans can always assume that there's multiverse factors, whether you see it or not, that exist around it," Garcia added.

He further added, "The truth is, there's a reason why we say that when Black Adam comes into the DC universe, the hierarchy of power is going to change, And there's very few established figures who would be able to go toe to toe with Black Adam. I think as established right now in the DC cinematic universe, you look at Wonder Woman and at Superman as two characters that would have a shot, maybe if they work together, because hey...it's Black Adam, right?"

Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson in the role of Teth-Adam aka Black Adam, Noah Centineo in the role of Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge in the role of Hawkman, Sarah Shahi in the role of Adrianna Tomaz, Quintessa Swindell in the role of a Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan in the role of Kent Nelson also known as Doctor Fate, is debuting in theaters on 22nd July 2022.
