A new featurette of the upcoming blockbuster film The Matrix: Resurrections featuring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Priyanka Chopra, and Neil Patrick Harris has been released by Warner Bros. The fans in the video get to see their favorite stars sharing some insights about the film.

"While we were making the first Matrix I felt like that it's something beyond yourself, like it's big," Reeves said. "The ambition of its thought...You'll hear the sentences 'The Matrix changed my life,' so I'd like to say, thank you, it changed mine too." Henwick, a new addition to the series who appears to be playing one of the hackers in Morpheus' crew, added "You can't quantify how much it changed the world...Everything entered pop culture and stayed. We say 'a glitch in the matrix,' that's part of the lexicon.

Prior to the release of the featurette just a month ago the official trailer of the film was released which provided some glimpses at the story of the fourth installment in the ever-popular Matrix franchise

Directed as well as written by Lana Wachowski who was also responsible for directing the other three super hit films in the franchise, the film has a huge list of actors such as Keanu Reeves as Thomas A. Anderson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Yahya Abdul-Marteen as Morpheous replacing the famous Laurence Fishburne, Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe, Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian and Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson and Priyanka Chopra.

The Matrix: Resurrections will be released in theatres on 1st April 2022, after it was earlier meant to release on May 21, 2021, but due to the deadly impact of the Coronavirus pandemic it had to be delayed because the theatres all around the world had to be shut down.

Keanu Reeves will be seen in his upcoming film BRZRKR, which is a live-action adaptation of his own comic book series based on an immortal being known as BRZRKR. The comic book series was produced by Boom! Studios. Reeves has revealed some details about the film in an interview.

He said, "My ambition or hope is not to do a filmed version of the comic book so that they’ll have things in common, definitely the main character and his kind of rule set, but that we can take it to other places as well. We’re talking to a couple of different animation companies and trying to figure that out. And, again, for me I’m hoping to be inspired and influenced…there are some rules to the story, but I also want other creators to do their version of it. So I’m hoping to do a different version of a metaverse wherein the sense having different storytellers with one set of rules but go other places with it. We’re working on trying to set up a company with the animation and we’ve hired a writer for the film Mattson Tomlin. He’s been cool and just starting to put things together. That’s where we’re at.”
