Bebe Rexha is one of the celebrities who has always been honest about her body image struggled with her fans and followers. She recently shared an emotional and honest video on her TikTok, giving her 7.1 million fans an "honest" update about her weight and why she has been posting on and off social media lately.

Bebe started by saying,“So it is the holidays and I know we’re all supposed to be, like, merry and like, ‘Yay, it’s the holidays,’ which I am...ish." She soon turned emotional and shared with her fans that she has gained weight over the last year, adding that she is the heaviest she had ever been. The singer added, "I think I am the heaviest I've ever been. I weighed myself just now, and I don't feel comfortable sharing the weight because I feel embarrassed. Not just about that. I just feel disgusted, you know, in my own body. "

Bebe Rexha also mentioned in her video that the reason she has not been posting much on social media is that she doesn't feel good in her skin. When she does not feel good, she does not feel like posting on social media for the sake of posting, and right now she feels like she has to be honest with her fans and followers. The 32-year-old singer, who has been vocal about her challenges and struggles when it comes to her body image and body positivity, has mentioned that her body-positive attitude stems from "a place of hurt" and "confusion."

The singer shared that she has struggled with how to love herself in the past and still struggle with it at times and quoted, "I think all the body positivity that stems from me is probably a place of hurt and confusion, like... I don’t know how to help myself anymore or how to love myself." Bebe Rexha, back in 2019, shared with Cosmopolitan while calling out fashion designers who allegedly would not dress her for the Grammys because she was "too big." She said, "You're saying that all the women in the world that are size 8 and up are not beautiful, and they cannot wear your dresses... f**k you, I don't want to wear your f***ing dresses."

This is not the first time Bebe Rexha has taken to her social media to share how she feels about her body and herself in general, as in June she posted a TikTok showcasing her curves proudly in indigo lingerie set and dancing to the tune of Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne’s 2018 track "Good Form." She asked her followers, "How much do you think I weigh? It's no one’s business because I’m a bad b—h no matter my weight. But let’s normalize 165 lbs."

Bebe Rexha also created a collection with the lingerie brand "Adore Me," specifically keeping the designs inclusive of all body types. She told People, "I'm all about body positivity and inclusivity, and I was excited to partner with a brand that believes in that and has been pushing that for a while. As a woman who wasn't a cookie-cutter pop star, I hope to inspire women to love their bodies and feel beautiful at any size."

The "Broken Hearts" singer tweeted on December 21, 2021, "To the person who is feeling down this holiday season, you got this, and you will get through. Sending you love. " In her June interview with People, she had shared how she wants to encourage her fans to love themselves and how they have helped her to do the same. She said, "As a woman who wasn't a cookie-cutter pop star, I hope to inspire women to love their bodies and feel beautiful at any size."

In May, recalling her initial days when she was just starting in the industry, Bebe was told, "Nobody likes a fat pop star." Adding to what the statement led to Bebe added, "That f—ed with my head, because they made me believe that I was nothing unless I looked a certain way. I didn't like looking at pictures because there was a little fold of skin. Now I'm like, You can't live your life like that. I got the curves, I got the ass, and that's what you're going to get! "

Talking to ET’s Denny Directo, Bebe Rexha shared in July, "Honestly, just do you. Wear that bathing suit. Wear that bikini. Even if you gained those five pounds, or you lost too much weight, or you have stretch marks, wear the bikini. Who cares? Who cares? You're going to look back in 10 years and say, 'Wow, I was so hot.'"

In her The Kelly Clarkson Show interview back in November 2019, Bebe shared that she wants her concerts to promote self-love, adding, "The shows are always, like, young girls, young guys, or, like, daughters with their mothers. I say, I don't care what anybody has told you, a number doesn't define you." And I think it's really important for my fans to know that I'm not trying to be that. I don't care." In her recent Health interview, Bebe got candid about her body and said, "Ever since I was little, I've been thicker. When I first got signed to one of my deals, my managers were like, 'Are you ready to get into boot-camp shape?' I was like, 'Sure! What does that mean?' They told me to lose 20 pounds, and it kind of messed me up. I went through a point of really not liking myself, and I still have my moments—but I just started trying to be nice to myself and doing things every day [to get comfortable with my body image]."

Talking about her relationship with social media, she shared in one of her interviews, "I have a love-hate relationship with social media. I love it because I can talk to my fans and see what's up with them, but then you see things you don't want to see. Mean comments, or when you go into a rabbit hole, becoming like Inspector Gadget and seeing things you don't want to see, especially when you're in a relationship. "

Chlöe of Chloe x Halle sent Bebe Rexha words of affirmation in the comments: "Love you so much. I struggle with my weight every single day; I know exactly how you’re feeling. You are a BAD BITCH, and you’re beautiful in ANY SIZE. "Bebe Rexha who lastly shared in her video that her New Year's resolution would not care so much about how others feel about her body and focus on feeling better and confident. Bebe's fans have always appreciated and praised her for "being so real" and a "body-positive queen."
