Will Poulter, who will join the 55-year-old acclaimed director James Gunn, to feature in the role of Adam Warlock, one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe along with Zoe Saldana in the role of Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Pom Klementieff in the role of Mantis, Chris Pratt in the role of Star-Lord, Vin Diesel in the role of Groot, Bradley Cooper in the role of Rocket, Karen Gillan in the role of Nebula, Elizabeth Debicki in the role of Ayesha and Sean Gunn in the role of Kraglin Obfonteri, has finally opened up about his role in the upcoming superhero blockbuster Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3.

"I feel very, very lucky and very honored to [have] been welcomed into the Marvel family," Poulter said during a recent red carpet interview with Max of Flip Your Wig. "Particularly into a franchise like Guardians of the Galaxy, which I regard to be incredibly creative and very, very unique. And [writer-director] James Gunn's someone I really, really admire. So, [I] feel very lucky."

When asked if he's ready to "flex," Poulter replied, "I better get ready, I guess. I better get ready... Working on it, working on it."

Poulter was just last week, eventually cast in the role of Adam Warlock after the director of the movie himself confirmed the news, thus ending the list of various rumors and speculations surrounding his appearance in the superhero role.

Deadline reports that the 28-year-old Will Poulter got involved in the film after the search to find out the best actor who can best portray Adam Warlock led by James Gunn and the Marvel Studios ended in late August, with Poulter ultimately winning the screen test. While Adam Warlock will be the first time seen in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, the superhero was also referenced at the end of Guardian of The Galaxy Volume 2, released back in 2018.

As to what the fans could expect from the franchise's last installment, film star Dave Bautista reveals says that "It's our third film. We're going to wrap it up. And it's been a hell of a journey with a few bumps. So I'm looking forward to this, man. My cast and obviously the director, James Gunn, they're like family to me. This is kind of where my journey started. It's come full circle and I'm looking forward to wrapping it up. And it's a bittersweet... I mean, I've been doing Guardians since 2013. And, you know, when this comes out, you know, it'll be in 2023, so that's a, you know, 10 year journey."

Marvel President Kevin Feige is the one responsible for the production of the film with the distribution under the banner of media and entertainment giant The Walt Disney Motion Pictures.

Marvel Studios Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3 is set to arrive in the theatres on May 5, 2023, which is a long delay from its initial release date which was shifted due to the impact of Coronavirus around the world.
